    • Please do NOT drink any alcohol 12 hours before your appointment.

    • Please eat something 20-30 minutes prior to your appointment. This keeps your blood sugar steady and helps you to be more comfortable and less sensitive.

    • Avoid any form of caffeine (coffee, soda, energy drinks) 6 hours prior to your appointment. Caffeine is a stimulant and will heighten your sensitivity.

    • Please do NOT take pain relief before your appointment unless it is a part of your daily prescription medication routine. They can cause bleeding which can affect retention of pigment. We will ensure you are comfortable.

  • Please allow at least 2 ½ hours for your first appointment and 1 ½ hours for your follow up. Shannon will measure and style your brows, lips or eyeliner and discuss your expectations and answer any question you may have. Once you are happy with your enhanced brow design or discussed eyeliner or lip blushing, a suitable pigment color is chosen. Shannon can mix colors to achieve the best match based on your skin tone. She will apply a topical aesthetic that numbs your skin and will continue to apply this during the procedure, so you remain comfortable. Shannon follows strict infection control protocols and uses disposable implements to create either fine – hair like stokes (Microblading) or to add a soft shaded background or powder brow (softap or digital machine), and to create eyeliner or lip blush. Pigment is deposited into the upper skin layers using a handheld implement or digital machine.

  • Shannon will go over the after care in detail with you so you understand your responsibilities to ensure the best healing outcome, an aftercare kit with a specially formulated ointment for cosmetic tattoo aftercare will be given to you which will include instructions on how to care for your treatment . The area treated will appear very intense, exact and darker in color due to the pigment oxidising when first treated – but this won’t last! The skin heals from epidermis layer up and as it does there will be 30% – 50% loss in pigment color and a slight shrinking in shape. Healing is different for everyone but some peeling or flaking of skin is normal – DO NOT PICK!

You can expect some pigment loss during the healing, and this is why it is a two-part procedure. We asks you to avoid the following, so please plan for this procedure accordingly:

    • No swimming until brows are fully healed 14-17 days, including spa baths/hot tubs.

    • No overly strenuous exercises or heavy sweating for a week. If you are a person who sweats heavily, please wear a cotton headband to catch sweat when working out. I do allow

    • No makeup directly on the brow area.

    • No Botox for 1 weeks after final procedure

    • Do not EVER use products containing AHA, Retinol A or Vitamin A as these products will remove pigment color from your eyebrows.

  • The follow up appointment is an important step in completing the procedure and is required approximately 6 - 10 weeks after the initial appointment. This is your perfection appointment. This appointment assures your brows  adjustments as needed.
